A Winter Day At The Beach

I must admit that it was a special day of Winter in St. Petersburg, No wind, bright sun, and quietude. I'm thinking though I prefer the four seasons of the the Midwest. Not an easy decision.

Excellent photograph the clouds are beautiful the water coloring is very eye appealing the resolution is superb and the lone seagull is happy having the airspace to himself.
Good old days.

It's just gorgeous and enticing, the space and light are quite soothing. I've always been a four seasons man but this does give me pause. I could probably stand it for a little while... :-)

I like the vastness of this scene of water and sky. Beautiful colors. "V"
Having lived in many places with horrible weather, I can do without four seasons.

It doesn’t feel like winter though. But yeah there are no real winters in FL I believe. It’s a gorgeous shot. The serenity, the vast blue sky and sea. It’s really gorgeous Neil. BV

A beautiful as this is I agree. The four seasons is more to my liking. I think I could tolerate this for a month in the wintertime though.

Lovely image. V
I have the same feeling about the fours seasons we get here in Alberta. However, on days like today when it is -36 C, I question myself.

Beauty shot... I like the bird swoopiing close to the water and one in the cloud

Indeed a tough choice... I think you'd have to live there longer in order to know if you still love the change of seasons or not.

Such a beautiful, serene scene, Neil, the warmth is palpable. I like the changing seasons too but would gladly trade places at this moment. :).
