Clear Cut

This backs up to the main street. The trees were cut to have it fill and become a reservoir.

This makes me sad, but it does make a great landscape image with the patten of trunks left behind.

A strange grotesque beauty to this landscape of once forested, then cut and flooded valley.

Love the expansive view with ample DOF to enjoy it all.

Another example of a failure to think something all the way through. We may never see it, but nature will fix this for us. I love the image nonetheless. V

unfortunate the trees were cut and then the reservoir project abandoned...how we lay waste to nature..

The extensive cut makes for a fascinating landscape. Very well composed with that high horizon line. "V"

Looks like a pretty spot for a lake but shame to lose all those trees.
