Super Blue Moon Attempt

I went to the lake too early. I saw only part of the moon and it was so dark the camera wouldn't focus easily. Then the clouds rolled in. I was the only fool in the park and it was cold. This is my Super Blue Moon attempt.

I think your image turned out very well. Moody. This definitely shows how things were that night in the Midwest. The tree silhouettes add punch to the scene. I like it!!!

Your efforts were well rewarded with this image.

It still turned out fine. The leafless trees in the FG are perfect. Vote.

I like your setting, too bad you had clouds. In spite of that it's a great image! V

I like this with the silhouetted branches and glimpse of the moon.

"Blue Moon... you saw me standing alone ... you knew just what I was there for
You heard me saying a prayer for,
..a shot I really could care for"

Regardless this is a great shot exposed at such a high ISO and delivered smooth as silk.
Love the monochrome feel to this photograph.

I understand how that goes, but if you didn't go the clouds would have parted and a flock of geese would have been flying across it in a scene of a lifetime! (No one would have been there to see it, but it would have happened) You know... sometimes you have to go even if you do wonder why you are in a park in the wee hours of the morning. Love this shot though!

well conceptualized, and a noble attempt in the face of conditions...the image still resonates with a subtle potency..

Still an A for effort. I think I prefer your capture to mine, although Tom takes the cake so far.
