Hedge Row

Osage Orange, an unpleasant tree with 2 inch thorns, extremely hard wood that dulls saws and sparks furiously when burned. It produces a seed ball that weighs up to 3 pounds that can kill you if it falls from a height.

Sounds like a tree to keep away from with such information.
David.

Never heard of such a thing!|

Neat shot and well executed. I like the tones. Based on your description I would keep a distance to avoid death by seed ball. "V"

Very interesting. Looks like they're trying to spell out something. A speedball warning, perhaps. Vote.

Nicely lines up across the frame, and thanks for the information. V

You really did a nice job of framing this panorama image. I had never heard of these species of trees before but it brings a whole new meaning to the line "the sky is falling". The cast shadows really help frame the lower portion of this image. V

Bad attitude trees it seems... would make a great security boarder around the property line.
Nick Paoni20-Nov-2017 14:30
Seems like a real liability having them around. Is this public land?

Excellent shot of these "killer " trees. V

Those trees sound like a disaster to own but they provide a wonderful texture in the bark. I love the different shapes that each of the grouping has, all work together. A really fine image!

A good hedge to discourage intruders !! They do make a very pleasant image here with the touch of fall colours ! V

engaging scene...the trees look edgy and sound problematic....so just what are they?
