Rural Road in mono

Dan Greenburg suggested I try this in B&W. I think it's as good or better.
Postscript... Walter Otto Koenig suggested I bump up the sky and I did. This is a pbase project

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Both are appealing, but my vote goes to the color version.

I do like this B&W better..... but have to wonder why the gravel is piled up on the left side of the road like that ?

I think the B&W fits the scene very well. Reminds me so much of driving on I-70 from Denver to Kansas . Cool shot either way, Neil. V

Just my opinion.. but I don't think so... Looses detail and it’s hard to beat white puffy clouds, blue sky, and wide open spaces. The silo and and trees marking a farm from day’s past just adds to the whole scene. Great lines make the eye sweep across it. BV (for the other one!)

I like it, Neil...

I agree with Dan as well. Maybe up the contrast to bring out the clouds more. "V"

Definitely much more punch and visual wow factor in mono. Thanks Neil. ~BV~
