Basket of Bread by Salvador Dali

I'm not a fan of Dali. Melting clocks are not for me. BUT this image was done by him to show that he is a skilled painter. I tried as best as I could to reproduce it . It was truly superb in the original.

Yes Neil, you have made a good fist of it. I kick myself for visiting St Pete's and not insisting to be allowed to visit the Master. Your photo is terrific, and to see the original must have been unforgettable Big Vote ( for both of you)

I one the other hand am a big fan of Dali. This shows he is much more than just an "illustrator" as some claim.

he was just a character. Remember having seen him many times in TV when still alive and he always surprised you with his thoughts....V
