Great hoar frost scene, look Ok on my monitor.

Looks super sharp on my monitor. Have no fear. I love icy trees! An ice storm is no fun except for photography!

an appealing scene for sure...I see a sharp image, yet not very sharp,...that said, ultra-crisp images are not necessarily desirable anyway..

When viewing the original the branches look sharp on the main subject and the trunks on the trees in the background seem in focus, so there is plenty of DOF consistent with f/22. Just a small technical note: closing down past f/16 or 18 doesn't always produce crisper images since light diffusion comes into play after that. The view is a little softer in the large version. I like the scene.

I'd take a seat on that bench but fear I'd need a change of pants. Looks great, even on my iPad. Proves all of us have different monitors....I guess we'll never know what everyone else is seeing! Vv

On my monitor this looks soft and flat. A sense of depth is important in shots like this and this one does not have it. It's not an easy shot. I do like it though.

This is a beautiful way to tell Winters tale! ~V~
