Rundown Industrial Area

What jarred me was the water tower with the letters. BTK It was that name given to a monster that plagued Wichita for many years and Bound,Tortured and Killed 10 women over a 17 year period. He was captured a few years ago and is in jail. I'm surprised the initials weren't painted out.

I don't think I would have seen this scene and saw the potential for a great photograph. However, you knocked it out of the park! Such a great composition and I really like the processing. A lot to take in here. Interesting and sad story about the letters. V

Oh dear, now that you have told me the implications of the letters, this place has a foreboding air to it. Very well shot and processed Neil. V

An amazing capture with special interest due to the initials.

a strong vertical pull here, and interesting scene...the killers nickname on the tower does seem inappropriate..

Fascinating subject, very well composed and processed. I like the details and tones. My focus was on the sign about the carpets. "V"

There is so much to see in this great image! Who in their right mind would climb
that water tower to paint that on there.

Tells the story of decay and abandonment, nice sharp image. Too bad the initials still remain, I agree with John also. V

Nice catch! Maybe you should point it out to someone...
