Washboard Road

This bumpy surface occurs from constant use. I lived on one for many years and the dust that roils forth makes for a constantly dust covered car.

Don't know how I missed this. A shock absorber nightmare. Well composed and excellent contrast.

I love this picture and the road, it looks unspoiled and there are no cars around! (I'm not a car lover)

It looks a little like the road I grew up on.
This is an amazing monochrome image. Great power in such a composition ~V~

Super shot and love that sky ! V
PS Been on many roads like this - the only way to travel is fast enough so you float over the dips :)

This one really has a lot of impact. Great composition, excellent lines, crisp, contrasty B&W processing. It definitely brings home the feeling of being there on a hot summer day. ~BV~

What a great subject for black and white conversion. I really like the multiple lines leading to the vanishing point. V
