An Overview of The Alfama

I was fortunate that the cruise ship was moored directly across from the Alfama and I had two days to explore it. This is an ancient part of Lisbon and has steep stone stairways often without handrails and narrow winding streets. No place for broad landscapes but many old, interesting details and people to be photographed. I was in my element.

What a charming town, I like how the houses are so dense, carpeting the
rolling hills. Yes, it must be a fun place to photograph and explore. V
