Statuary Benches

There are a number of these adjacent to the Wichita Public Library. I have no idea what their purpose was and where they came from.

I would imagine these came from a property of a manor or such. They look in very good condition! Nice placement of them in your frame.

You have nicely captured the texture of these beautiful benches. I have no idea of their intended use, but the look like they belong in the small parks that form part of seminaries and priories. A quiet place to sit and read or think. V
