The Rear Room

Seen through a window. I didn't notice the door ajar until I looked at it on the monitor. I would certainly would have gone in.

The stories that must have been created here, lost and forgotten. Good "through the window" shot.

Beautiful and telling. Look at the crown molding. This was apparently a fine home once. Vote.

I love those colors and so lovely the decoration on top of the wall. This must have been a very elegant room…

I like this overview type of image of the house to give a sense of space. The door ajar is rather spooky though even though it is daylight. Makes me wonder what has happened to this place, and who has done this. You really capture the mood of despair in this image. Sad but so well done!

I don't think the owners are coming back, Neil. Nice find.

Fascinating interior shot. The decay has its own beauty. "V"

Everything here has a story. A past life and the slow slide of decay. The signs we see here telling us what path the decay is taking!

It should be preserved as is a monument to decay. V
