Cedar Point, Kansas

The latest census lists 25 residents. They have a post office which happened to be closed. I saw no one during my short stay. I was here 8 years ago and at that time I met one person. Kind of sad.

It is sad to see life fade away like that. A lot going on in this shot...love the porch and everything on it!

Good composition of abandonment and decay. Great candidate for B&W. V

Very well composed with the tow dead cars in the foreground. Interesting array of things on the porch. Strong documentary image, very effective with these tones. "V"

says so much about life, doesn't it? Nicely shot. V

People in these little towns sure like putting stuff out on the porch!

Walnut Street was cracked open and then emptied out! What a view of neglect. B&W adds to the sense of despair and sadness. Are the residents all one family. V

A sad sight - I bet that was a nice house once - strange that all three hoods are open to about the same degree - great capture V

I have always heard that affluent families have two cars jacked up in the front yard.
This one has three!! Nice capture,Neil..
