For Sale

I took this picture a few months ago. Not surprisingly it was still available.

I am not trying to spread gloom but it is a constant realization to me that there is "another world out there" that should be shown.

I have one of these waiting to be torn down. When they are built on the cheap and not taken care of there is a tipping point! This one is there! Unless this is at 1/3 the price of the lot and there is demand for whatever gets put back on there? It's worthless! Sad, but the world moved on...

A reality that most people know and nobody does any thing about. V

Glad you posted this and totally agree with you about "another world out there". Unfortunately that's not what people want to see or know about, but it is important that they do. Not only to try to understand, but to be thankful for what they have and the problems they don't have. As for the house, it has character and was kept up in the past. At one time it was somebody's happy home.

A lot of people would just tear this down and build another house but if it were possible I would renovate an older home like this. They're usually very well built. Nice capture of this modest house.

A fine image of this poor little house. Everyone's moved to the west coast or Wichita . V

Yes, a sad reality of today's economy. I'm sure there are hundreds of towns throughout the country that have met the same fate. I wonder what originally drove the economy in this town.

A sad shot - I bet this was a pretty little house once V
