The neat house of Leon

I am making a gallery of Leon, Ks, a small rural town of declining population and income. This is indicative of many small towns in the country. There is a spirit and an effort of self help but I suspect the odds are against them. I saw only 3 people on a Saturday morning in the 4 block business section and no evidence of children.
I'll post 5-7 images a day

I live in this town of Leon, KS and it's not dying bit it's not growing. The city is now paving the roads and redoing ditches. I wouldn't trade anything for a small town life. I grew up here and graduated from here. I love it and I'll die here .

A tidy little house, so sad to hear about the decline. We lose a lot of the charm of rural USA.
