Women

The woman was sitting staring straight ahead looking pensive/glum. I asked if I could take her picture and she nodded. I am pretty sure that the robed figure is a woman despite the garb.. what do you think?

I like this Neil. For me it evokes a feeling of 'stopped motion'.
All three figures convey a sense of pause or stillness, but I can;t help imagining
that when we look away they will resume their extra-busy lives of career and family.

This has presence.
One senses the silence of the gallery; enhanced and echoed by the stillness of the visitor, being observed by the figures in the paintings.
