My wife and I spent a week in the Guanacaste area in this beautiful and diverse country . The people were very friendly and efficient and had an enormous pride in their country and loved to show and tell us about it. There are a number of micro climates that contribute to the diversity of flora and fauna. Several live volcanoes add to the photographic opportunites and I tried to take advantage of that as often as possible. I have picked several of the most interesting (in my mind at least) photographs of our visit to display here. I plan to keep adding photos for the next week or so.
Toucan in the EcoLodge Preserve
Meyo showing us the Bromiliad
Rainforest foliage
Humming Bird Nest

That shot of Arenal kicked me off chair, I could never make it so beautifully, V

Neil,
I don't know why you don't submit your photos to National Geographic. They would probably pay you big money! Have you ever considered that? The pics are wonderful, I never get tired of looking at any of your photos. Thanks for sending them to us.
Love, Anita
