On our safari through Tanzania, we were welcomed everywhere with this Swahili greeting by the friendly and gracious people there.
We visited Lake Manyara National Park, the Great Rift Valley, Tarangire NP, Olduvai Gorge, Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Crater, and the Serengeti plain.

Your photos are beautiful! We are leaving for Tanzania and Kenya with Tauck in a couple of weeks. These are the first Africa photos I've seen that include so many people in them, and daily life. It is a wonderful way to prepare for the trip! Thank-you.

I'm taking this Tauck Tour with my mom in May 2007. I really appreciate you sharing your photos; They are absolutely stunning. I've been reviewing them once a week since we booked the tour and I found your post on the Tauck discussion board. I only hope that I can capture the people, animals and scenery as well as you have. At least I'll have the memories in my mind. Happy Travels

I'm leaving Friday for this tour..I do photo journalism for a small town paper but my equipment isn't fancy, I do a lot of editing....I only hope my shots are half as good as yours. Yours are awesome! Thanks for sharing!
