He hit the plate glass, it knocked him coo-coo. I did't have enough time to get a better shot. He recovered realy fast and was gone.

Poor little birdie! Glad he recovered. A sweet pose, well captured. Not many people can say they've held a Goldfinch in the palm of their hand! V!

Your Goldfinch looks very much like our Siskin, a strikingly pretty little bird. I assume this is the male with the dark crown?

I thought it was a chicken when I saw the thumbnail... I am glad he got better and was able to fly away. Cute bird!
