One of our backwoods neighbors preparing to take an afternoon snooze, just outside the entrance to his tree house. Note the gray "racing stripe" running down his back. This squirrel is an offspring of one of our white squirrels mating with a gray squirrel. ISO 800. Hand-held, using a Nikon 80-400mm VR lens (120-600mm on the D300), at maximum focal length. No post-processing noise reduction.
