A beautiful songbird we do not see very often here. They are usually found in the western Carolinas, at elevations of 3,000 to 5,000 feet (914 to 1524 meters). I didn't realize they had brown eyes, until I look at this photo. Taken through a window. ISO 200. Manual focus. Aperture priority, with a -1/3 manual exposure compensation. Standard Color.
