OK, I had to try the ISO 16,000 at least once! A little "blotchy" but, actually, not all that bad. Certainly useable for internet posting or making smaller prints. A lot of the noise would probably clean up, with some post-processing noise reduction. But, I haven't had time to set up NEX-7 profiles for my Noise Ninja software. Taken with a Sony/Zeiss 24mm f/1.8 e-mount lens (35mm equivalent focal length of 36mm). ISO 16,000. Aperture priority. Standard color. Automatic white balance.
