Thanks. Glad to be able to help. For some really good learning/information, I suggest you go to www.dpreview.com and hang out on the Panasonic Forum. I have been using cameras for almost 60 years and I still learn something almost everyday. Some really helpful (and nice!) folks on that forum.

That's great information! Thanks! I agree, pinhole definitely has a better effect in B&W. You have a great eye for photography! I'm just starting to get into photography and I'm still figuring out the delicate balance of the various components needed to create a good photo. But I guess the journey in discovery is what makes photography fascinating! Thanks once again!

Turn the top dial to "My Color" (the symbol looks like an artist's palette). Then arrow down to "pinhole". The image you make will be in color and must be converted to B&W with post-processing software (I use PhotoShop Elements). I have never understood why Panasonic made the pinhole option in color. Most pinhole images I have seen have been B&W. But, it easy to convert the images and some folks might want color images.

Hi, I just got my LX5 and stumbled upon your gallery. Great photos! But how did you get this B&W shot in pinhole mode?
