Kristin, Valentin and I spent our 2010 summer vacation on the island of Rhodes. We stayed in Kalathos and visited Lindos, from which the nine ships sent by Rhodes to the Trojan War are thought to have sailed, and the port city of Rodos, where the Colossus once stood.
