Curaçao is the largest of the Netherlands Antilles at 38 miles (61km) long and 3 to 7 1/2 miles (5 to 12km)wide. Located thirty-five miles (56km) north of Venezuela and 42 miles (67km) east of Aruba.In the foreground, the tiny Queen Emma floating bridge swings aside to allow ships to pass through the narrow channel.
