The smaller juvenile is hiding behind mom and only the tip of it's beak can be seen along her wing.The more mature juveniles seen on the left will be leaving the nest very soon. The expressions are not a sign of aggressiveness but rather of extreme panting due to excessive heat and humidity further compounded by the open nest concept with no shade available to them.
