August 2003. Traveling to Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, The Oglala Sioux Nation, with our Brother Bruce Kafer and his wife Cyrene with the twins in tow was truly fulfilling. Our thanks to Lamoine and Ulie Pulliam (now our cousins) for their incredible hospitality at UPO, their bed and breakfast in Kyle SD (1-605-455-2130)
Our journey's purpose was to be with Bruce and his Mother, family for his naming and re-joining of the family ceremony. An incredible journey it was.
