Two Loch Walk, Galloway, Southern Scotland - Apr '08

Yet another Wee Campus Walk.

Two Loch Walk, Forrest Estate, Galloway, southern Scotland. Sunday April 27th 2008.

The Forrest Estate road was the main starting point for our walk into the Galloway hills. The walk started from the car park at Forrest Lodge (residence of Fred Olsen of Olsen shipping lines). We proceeded through the forested foothills of the Rhinns of Kells, which are craggy granite uplands forming part of the Galloway hills. The walk managed to take in two lochs – Loch Minnoch and Loch Dungeon.
