Located on the South slope of the Arrabida mountain, dates from the XVI century.
It is constituted by 40 small cells, refectory, kitchen, library and church.
Nearby are several watchtowers (" estações dos Passos"), the Chapel of Bom Jesus
and the Old Monastery - the cells where was installed the 1st community..
