Red Eyed Tree Frog DSC4646

Red-eyed tree frogs are found in tropical lowlands of southern Mexico, Central America, and northern South America. They are nocturnal animals that hide in the rain forest canopy from which they ambush crickets, flies, and moths with their long, sticky tongues. They are not poisonous.
