The Burj Khalifa can be seen in the distance. It was the tallest building in the world when we were there. We ate a very expensive lunch there on New Years Eve. The appetizers were great, but the main dishes were mediocre. The view was spectacular though. All the other skyscrapers looked like toys. There were fireworks attached by the windows which was a bit creepy, but when they were set off at midnight, they were spectacular. We were able to see them from the roof of our family's apartment.
