We continued our travels by car to Pushkar. This small village is known as the Holy City, is very strictly vegetarian, forbids alcohol, drugs and actually has no police presence at all. Our guide explained that almost everything is forbidden and unavailable legally in Pushkar but that almost everything is AVAILABLE illegally in Pushkar for a price. We did not purchase any contraband while in Pushkar!
