Here you can see all the clutter on the table, the buffet behind the table, the Van Gogh, and a glimpse of the laundry room window through the doorway. The light is tied up high because we are constantly moving the table, trying one direction or the other, and we bump our heads on it. With the new island installed, we can have the light fixture hang lower, as it is meant to do.
