Sujay, our guide, asked the driver to stop at this village. It turned out that they were a band of gypsies, both Muslim and Hindu, who live near the town. The place was incredibly clean and the people were gracious. As we entered the village, we were surrounded by kids (children) and kids (baby goats). We were asked to sit and we watched the village patriarch as he charmed his snakes. The children watched and danced, but I think that the were more interesed in us. India is the birthplace of the Gypsy culture and there are camps outside of every city and town.
