Six months after Wilma hammered Cancun, the resort area is well on it's way back to being rebuilt. We stayed at one of the Royal Resorts and the only evidence of the hurricane was the lack of mature palm trees. Other places are not so lucky, but are on their way to being reopened. The reefs at the south end of the strip (near Club Med) looked to be unaffected and still very active and flourishing.
