Thanks for posting!
Great photo for racing fans!!!
Very, very thanks from Russia!!!
Mark, I am very pleased to find your work with the IMSA Firehawk series. I crewed for a couple of years and helped in one of the victories in Sports class. Thanks for the memories!!
Absolutely fantastic photos. As a big fan of the original Eclipse (I own one) it's amazing to see Eagle Talon and Mitsubishi Eclipse in racing. As I live in Europe I didn't even know they had so much racing history!
Thanks for preserving these images online!!!
Thanks for all the pics...great stuff
Mark, The picture are awesome. Brings back many great memories of the best series in american racing, IMSA rocks!!
Hello Mark, great pics.
Do you have anything else with Anthony Angioletti's VW times?
Wow - I've never seen a picture of our '89 pit fire at RA. I didn't know one existed. I remember it like it happened yesterday. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Mark, Thanks for the memories of the old IMSA series. What a great time in IMSA racing history. I was lucky to have worked at Brumos Atlanta when Brian Redman was there. Mr.Redman is the greatest A terrific racer and a true gentleman as well. I was able to meet a lot of excellent drivers during those days. Al Holbert, Derek Bell, Bob akin just to name a few.A fun time with some truly remarkable people and some fantastic cars. Thanks again, Bruce Wardlaw
MARK: I HAVE NUMBER 37 IMSA INT. SEDAN. IT WAS COMPAIGNED BY A GUY IN SCHENECTADY, NY IN 1985 - 1987. I NEED A PIC OF IT TO QUALIFY IT FOR SVRA RACING. CAN YOU HELP ME???? ALSO ANY TIME SHEETS THAT YOU MIGHT HAVE...... MUCH APPRECIATED.
Mark great old photos. I am looking for old photos of the 93 Honda Prelude #38 driven by Marl Hein, John Green, and Terry Earwood. Any idea where I might find race photos of this car?
fabulous collection, thanks for sharing!
Mark, I covered the IMSA series in the 80s as a photographer.
loved your photos. Michael Q
What an incredible collection ! A must for any sports car fan
Very nice site with alot of various pictures.
I was on the Nissan GTP team
How SWEET those days of victory lane.
I was wondering if anyone has heard of a company based out of Wisconsin that builds custom Stradale SSZ street/race cars? This is a full tube chassis hand built Kit maybe?
Thank you for the wonderful photos of my all time favorite racing series:IMSA GTP. Your photos bring back wonderful memories for me!
Wow! what a gift. Classy atmospheric pictures. What a wonderful archive. Absolute gold dust. To think you were really there! Thank you for sharing. Mark.
Thanks for making cry!!! :-) Thank you for saving these memories on film. Before I found this site I could only tell people what road racing once was, now I can show them!
Mark, I just found your web site.Great pictures. Thanks for your efforts on the IMSA RS pictures in particular. Any chance that you might have pictures from the earlier IMSA weekend in 1977? (It was wet.) Also any IMSA RS from 1975 through 1979 that you might have in your files. Thanks so much. Den
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to your site. It is an amazing collection.
Thanks so much for posting your pics of the old IMSA days! I was poking around the internet looking for pics of the Corvette GTP car when i found your galleries!
I like your 80s era GTP photos. Aren't they beautiful cars? Toyota, Nissan, Probe, BMW, Porsche, Jaguar. Even Pontiac and Buick got in there for a while. The designs are timeless. The drivers were exciting to watch too.
I've always wanted to see an IMSA race at mid ohio, watkins, etc. but living on the west coast the closest I could get was the Riverside Raceway, Portland and Sonoma/Sears Point.
Here is my IMSA page and don't forget to check out the 1986 crash page link I made. Destroyed Probe, Jag, and Vette!! That damn Bundy!
Do you mind if I put a link on my IMSA page to your page
Also, what did you think of the "Corvette Challenge Series". I think Boris Said and all the drivers made for some exciting and thrilling races from flag to flag.
Mark, fantastic! Where did you get them all?!!!! Should you come across any 914-6 GT or 73/74 RSR photos, please let me know. ;)
Thanks for posting the photos.
Mark, THANKS !!! I found some old photos of me in your galleries in Firehawk and Intnl Sedans. Did you shoot any of the Renault Cup??
