During World War I, some wounded german prisoners were treated in hospitals in Nantes. Those who died during this period were buried along a wall of this cemetery.

Pendant la Première Guerre Mondiale, des prisonniers blessés allemands furent hospitalisés dans des hôpitaux nantais. Ceux qui y moururent furent enterrés le long d'un mur de ce cimetière.
