Uluru is the iconic natural landmark of Australia, almost in the middle of the country in a hot and dry region. Known and considered as a sacred place by the Anangu people long before being discovered by the european colons, it became a matter of political conflict between the natives and the australian government, until being returned to the Anangu people, in the 1980's.

Uluru est l'icone naturelle de l'Australie, situé pratiquement au milieu du pays, dans une région chaude et sèche.
Connu depuis longtemps et considéré comme sacré par le peuple Anangu, avant d'être découvert par les colons occidentaux, Uluru fut source de conflits politiques jusqu'à ce qu'il soit rendu au peuple Anangu, dans les années 80.
