Lots of nostalgia for me from these photos - I have just visited Whitley Bay and had a 99 at the Venetian - the owner would love to have photos of the old areas around the Spanish City before the current "modernization" took place - any chance you have some?

I was born in the High ferry house which stood alone next to the ship breakers yard.
I would love to have contact with the wonderful people I grew up with.
I had an archive of pictures and I lost them when one of my machines crashed.

I'm a former native of the area & have just returned home from visit there today. At weekend I took some shots of St Mary's , The Sluice & Blyth area in nice sunshine but not in same class as yours! Keep up the good work!
