The photographers attending the opening night of the photo show gave the first place vote to this photo that I captured last November 7 in the torrential rain with floodwaters higher than anybody there had ever seen before going over Multnomah Falls, blasting its spray far into the trees, knocking loose any but the hardiest remnants of Autumn while driftwood logs are tossed by violent waves in the thundering water.
