That the seed seems near harvest time in February is amazing to me, but what might be more remarkable to you is that the fog that you see is not rising from the cape as it may seem but rather spilling downward over it from a buildup on the other side.

I like the mood and the composition with the foreground being important and the background, nicely in the upper third, setting the mood. something about fog that just says "fresh and new" on the way

Antonis, thanks for your note of appreciation of this photo. I have been uneasy about the composition of it, but I really wanted to show both the grass seed and the distant cape fog. I keep thinking that I should have been able to find a more appealing composition. I still don't know what that would be. Maybe somebody might someday come along and give me a suggestion for improvement.
