We went through Mexico to go to Ecuador, but I only got few photos of Mexico. The story behind that, was that I was out on Saturday in the Square near the Cathedral and for some reason a sandal-maker gestured for me to stop when i was going to take a photo of his wares. I got some-one to ask why. Seemingly it was because "Koreans" took photos and stole the designs. It really upset me. It was so unfriendly. In response I told him i would never take another photo in Mexico - so I didn't. I will never work out what his reaction derived from. I don't look any more Asian than the average Mexican. It was a place which crawled with tourists full of cameras. Quito was far more welcoming.
