Puno, on Lake Titicaca, near the border with Bolivia. I have processed Maya's photos as best I can. I'm not experienced at processing, so I hope you and she, will forgive me. Maya had breast cancer last year (2012). It was found to be terminal, on November 28. She wanted to travel. She hoped to have time to do some travelling. In January 2013, her Dad and I accompanied her to Sth America. Her first choice was Turkey, Europe and Morocco etc, but it would have been cold. So Sth America became the destination. We got to Lake Titicaca late in the itinerary. By this time, Maya was tired. She found cancer lumps on her ribs and obvious signs of spread while we were there, so I can only imagine the desperation she was feeling. So these are among her last photos. Some are pre-Puno - but not many.
