It must have been a practice, as there was no introduction, no explanation, no fanfare, yet there are obviously seats for guests. It was fun to see a fashion parade in the streets of Chiang Mai, not accompanied by a big stage and lots of noise and razzamatazz. It was in the street which was blocked off for the general Floral Festival Activities, by the Western Moat, in front of the aptly named Pinn Shop. The Pinn Shop was the local knitting, crochet and fine wool supplies shop. Its display to showcase its wares was highly imaginative.
