Bonhomme

Georgian Bay, Lake Huron

I asked my husband what these stone men are called. He didn't know, but said his mother would call them 'bonhommes' - her generic term for a human shape of any size but unknown name.

This is called an inuksuk . Wiki has a pretty good explanation.
