We were walking up a path in fairly open forest. I heard a rustling, and caught sight of a chipmunk diving around the back of a tree trunk. It seemed he might have been about to cross the path when we appeared. I followed around the trunk and Chippy did a complete circuit, spending some time 'casing' my activities as I 'cased' his. Then he made a dash for safety.
