It's also known as Goat's Beach. On the way to South Arm, it faces south, with waves coming up from way down somewhere on the way to the Antarctic. Favoured by surfers, they seem to be here in all weather, at both ends of the beach. This day was early in June, not yet officially winter, but too wintry for my taste anyway. It was an overcast sky, which looks sometimes a steel blue. Both ends are cliffy, with the eastern end leading around to an inlet which is difficult to get to by land. At the sea entry, cormorants dive and the occasional intrepid surfer makes sport. I've caught one surfer in this place. The shots in this gallery often show the same spot with slightly different waves around, or from different angles. In fine weather this beach is a lot of f=un. I suppose in stormy weather one could say it is a lot of fun as well, but of a more stimulating sort.
