Yamdrok Yumtso 羊卓雍错

Yamdrok Yumtso, or Yamdrok Lake, is another holy lakes of Tibet. It can only be reached after climbing a zig-zag highway for 40km. One gains elevation by over 1000m during that climb. The drive itself was at the same time scary yet breathtaking. The sight of the lake after turning the last bend is awe-inspiring.
