Shigatse 日喀则

Shigatse is the 2nd largest city in Tibet. It's much smaller compare to Lhasa. It hosts the Tashilhunpo Monastery, the seat for the Panchen (Ban Chan) Lama. The Panchan Lama used to share the reign of the Tibet with the Dalai Lama.
As is in everywhere in Tibet, tradition and modernity co-exists in Shigatse.
