The Palubuk Temple

The Palubuk is a small temple carved out of the hill on the opposite side of the Potala Palace. It was used by Princess Wen Cheng to meditate in the 7th Century.

I was able to take pictures of the interior of the temple, a rarity while visiting the various temples in Tibet.
